I was born in Chisinau, the capital of Moldova. At that time it was yet a part of the Soviet Union. In the year of 2001 I moved to Nuremberg, Germany where I live till today. I am holding a degree in computer science since and am working as a software developer in a telecommunication brunch.
My first serious long exposure experiments began in 2008. It were Christmas lights shot on long exposure with a more or less simple (non-SLR) camera handheld. As time went by my "light paintings" became more likely to be what the name itself expresses.
My another hobby is playing music. Currently, the most played instrument is jew's harp. I have around 15 different variations of this instrument originating from different countries and I am enjoying playing all of them. I also play button accordion, didgeridoo, guitar and sing.
